Activated Charcoal or Edible Cheese ash is used to create a neutralized surface on bloomy rind cheeses. It can be used with goat or cow milk cheeses to create a beautiful ash line. Ash will help to create a happy environment for Penicillium Candidum to grow and at the same time can help to inhibit other unwanted mold growth. Premixed. No salt mixing required.  Simply sprinkle on all surfaces of cheese.  Fantastic fun to watch the PC grow through the ash as it creates a beautiful white rind.  18 grams or more.
